1. How to pay for shopping on Smart Cakes?

Smart Cakes has multiple payment options through which the payment can be done easily. No matter which online payment mode you choose, secure encryption technology is used to keep your transactions confidential. The payment can be done via Paytm wallet through Internet Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card and UPI. 

2. Do you accept international credit cards on Smart Cakes?

No, we do not accept international credit cards on Smart Cakes. 

3. How do I pay using a credit/debit card?

We accept payments made by credit/debit cards that have been issued in India.

Credit cards
Payments are accepted by using different cards comprising of Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. For payment purpose during checkout, you will require to enter your card number, expiry date and the CVV number present on the backside of card. After the details are entered correctly, you will be redirected to the bank’s page and asked for a 3D secure password. 

Debit cards
Payments are accepted by using different debit cards comprising of Visa, MasterCard and Maestro debit cards. For payment purpose during checkout, you will require to enter your card number, expiry date and CVV number. After the details are entered correctly, you will be redirected to the bank’s page and asked for a 3D secure password. 

4. Is it safe to use my credit/debit card on Smart Cakes?

All the transactions that are being processed on Smart Cakes are highly secure. The online transactions have the best level of transaction security that is presently available on Internet. Smart Cakes uses 256-bit encryption technology to keep the private information of the user confidential while the payment is being processed securely.
 
All the debit and credit card payments on Smart Cards are being processed through a trusted payment gateway that is managed by leading banks. These banks use 3D secure password service for all the online transactions. 

5. What is a 3D Secure password?

A 3D secure password is used as a layer of security in online payment processing. It is being implemented by MasterCard and VISA in partnership with the banks that have issued such cards under “Verified by VISA” and “Mastercard SecureCode” services. 

A 3D password adds an extra security when it comes to the identity verification of debit and credit transactions. This password is known only by the user and ensures that the card is used only by the him/her for making online transactions. 

7. How can I get the 3D Secure password for my credit/debit card?

To avail a 3D Secure password for your debit or credit card, you are required to register for the it on your bank’s website.
